So I don't have to repeat myself, if you haven't already, check out my blog on the UK data disaster.

Sometimes even I think there must be a god. How else could you explain such a perfect demonstration of some of our objections falling so conveniently into my lap!

It is, of course, an example of the most trivial form of "Corrupt Insiders" (where no malice - we hope - was intended; they just broke their own rules about how to handle the data). Yet it demonstrates that even a non malicious corrupt insider can cause a major Datastrophe.
