Hiroshima - Defensible?

First off, I will check out the Doug Long site in due course and I'm happy to accept that Hiroshima may indeed not have been defensible. It doesn't really weaken my argument overall though, as all we have to accept is that an act like that COULD have been ethically motivated and would still be unquestionably terrorist - and that, hence, terrorism is no better or worse than any other form of warfare which causes avoidable non-combatant deaths.

Oh, and where are you ski-ing you lucky bastard! (Although I can't whinge, I've just come back after spending Xmas in Morocco!)
